San Diego Sol

PHILOSOPHY
The approach we use for our athletes who want to play in college is to continue to DEVELOP and improve their individual skills and fundamentals and give them quality EXPOSURE to college coaches.

DEVELOPMENT...we work all season long on maintaining a player's strengths and improving on their weaknesses. We understand that the club season is about improving the skills of the individual.

EXPOSURE...we play in top level NCAA viewing period tournaments where hundreds of college coaches are in attendance. We send out letters to colleges for our players expressing their interest in that particular college. We create Player Profiles for our Elite team with their statistics, accomplishments and contact information so that it is readily available to a college recruiter.

We personally invite college coaches in town to watch our players perform. We also feature a yearly college night to help educate our players and their parents in the college recruiting process.

ALUMNI
We want to acknowledge the players who have been in our program that have continued to play collegiate basketball or graduated with Sol. Lifetime members are players who finished their senior year with our program or have made significant contributions to the success of our program.
