Sol Alum Park Masterson, graduate of Poway HS and current player at Macalester College posted a double double with 10 points and 11 rebounds in a narrow defeat against Hamline last week!

Congratulations to Carol Schroeder from Bonita Vista High School on being named Cal-Hi Sports Southern Player of the Week. In a 56-48 win she racked up a triple double with 24 points, 10 rebounds and 10 steals along with 6 assists and 5 blocks. She also reached a milestone of scoring 1,000 career points. This season she is averaging 19 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 steals and 3 blocks per game. And has led her team to a 16-5 record so far. Go Carol - we are Sol Proud of you.

Sierra Campisano, athlete of the month!

A 6-foot-3 junior, Campisano is the epitome of consistency, recording a double-double in scoring and rebounds in all seven games last month. She also had nine blocks against Poway, just missing a triple-double for No. 9-ranked Torrey Pines.
