John Browner graduated from the high-powered Horizon Christian High School program where he was a standout defensive player. John brings a strong shot blocking presence and provides tremendous leadership for the team.

Greg Clark

Greg Clark has played in the ABA for 5 seasons and was voted to the ABA All-Star Team. He currently serves as team captain for the San Diego Sol. Greg is from San Diego native who attended Grossmont High School and was a McDonald’s All-American before continuing his career in college. Greg owns a personal training studio called Bend Fitness.

John Clark was a 2009-10 ABA All-Star and his 2007-08 team played for the ABA Championship. He has played professionally in Argentina, Canada, Mexico’s top league (LNBP) and the International Basketball League (IBL). John earned Pacific Coast Conference (college) MVP and All-State Honors. He is a product of Mission Bay High School in San Diego.

Gary Gibson

Gary comes to us from Florida where he earned First team All-City and lead his JUCO team to the Conference Title. Gary brings a quickness and energy needed to run Coach Jone’s fast paced offense and relentless pressure defense.

Jerome Habel

Jerome was an ABA team finalist and ABA All-Star in his 2007-08 season. He went on to play in the LNBP where he averaged 22 points per game while pulling down 7.4 rebounds per game. Jerome was a top 100 prospect coming out of high school.

David Jackson

David is an athletic forward with range out to 25 feet. He runs the floor well and is a good on-the-ball defender. David is a versatile player who can guard and play multiple positions.

Mitch Johnson

Mitch hails from the Bahamas where he was a captain of the Bahamian Men’s National Team who the silver medal in the 2011 FIBA games. During his 2010 international season he averaged 21 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and recorded a triple, double with 30 points, 12 rebounds and 13 assists.

Kalonji Kadima

Nicknamed “Special K,” Kalonji brings 3-point range that will prove invaluable to the team this season. His most recent accomplishment was winning the SKLZ 3-point shooting contest. A two-time team captain in college, he holds the record for most consecutive free throws made in a season.

Cameron Koford

Cameron Koford brings a wealth of experience to this team. He has played all over the world including Portugal, Australia, China, Mexico, Spain and Canada. Cameron also coaches for the San Diego Sol youth program and gives personal training lessons.

Grayson Moyer

Grayson Moyer is the all time leading scorer at La Jolla High School. Graduating from Humboldt State, he ranks 3rd in school history for career points scored and 2nd in career assists. He has spent the last two seasons playing abroad in Germany and Finland.

Sheldon Pace

Sheldon Pace is a tremendous addition to our roster. He has the point guard mentality and has told his teammates to always be ready for a pass. A strong, aggressive guard who can distribute but can also shoot the ball. He makes our team a serious contender for the title. He has recently been inducted into his College’s Hall of Fame.

Dario Ramirez

Dario played in the LNBP with the Culiacan Caballeros. He has a history of winning including being on the championship team that won the circuit Baja Mexico in 2010 and the Copa Rosarito Mexico in 2011 both with team Samex. Dario provides great leadership on the floor setting up his teammates to score and he is fearless taking the ball to the basket.

Raymond Williams

Raymond brings a speed to the team that is difficult to stop on the offensive end and a terror to defend against on the defensive end. He has the ability to change the pace of the game as soon as he steps on the floor.

Head Coach Zack Jones

Coach Jones has helped send 115 players to the college ranks with 31 players going to Division I level schools including Jared Dudley who was drafted in the first round of the NBA draft by the Charlotte Bobcats and is currently playing for the Phoenix Suns. Coach Jones high school basketball program has also produced three San Diego County Players of the Year. Assistant Coach Yohannis Johnson

Coach Johnson comes to us from one of the most outstanding local high schools in the county. Morse High School has produced a number of collegiate and professional athletes. While attending Morse, Johnson lettered in 3 sports including basketball, wrestling and track and field. After high school Johnson joined the US Army where he proudly served our country for 4 years and participated on the All Army basketball team. Coach Johnson has spent a lot of time coaching youth programs and camps.
