Coach Armstrong started his coaching career during college as a student assistant for the NCAA DIII institution Lakeland University. After graduation, he became the Assistant Coach at the NCAA DII institution Trevecca Nazarene University. After returning to his home state of California, Coach Armstrong became an assistant coach at Point Loma Nazarene University; another NCAA DII university. Coach Armstrong assisted and developed numerous all conference players including two NCAA All Americans. After his stint at Point Loma, Coach Armstrong joined us here at San Diego Sol. He has a passion for helping young athletes learn how to work hard and love the game at the same time. Coach Armstrong has a Bachelor’s degree in exercise science and a Masters degree in Management and Leadership.
