Every day off the school calendar, our courts are running. Skill stations in the morning, real games all afternoon, coaches from local high school and college programs.

All camps run 9:00 am to 3:30 pm at Alliant International University in Scripps Ranch, ages 6 to 14. Every camper gets a Sol T-shirt.

Fundamental vs Elite

Two camps, one gym. Pick the right room.

Every camp date has two registrations. Fundamental is the main camp — first-timers through developing players, grouped by age and ability on the first morning. Elite is for experienced club and school-team players who want faster reps and higher-level competition. Same day, same hours, same price — the difference is the room your player trains in.

Grouping depends on who registers. If the Elite group is small on a date, we combine the two camps and raise the level of the work rather than splitting players thin — we will tell you straight if a week is light.

Sol players get 15% off every camp — automatically. Once the one-time $195 new-player fee is paid, the discount is attached to your Playbook account and comes off at checkout on its own. No code to remember, nothing to ask us for. And every court streams on Live Barn if you cannot be there.

Who runs it

Coach Spatticus Harris

Our Camps and Clinics director and a full-time Sol coach. Four years at San Diego Christian College, two NCCAA national championships, first-team All-American. The rest of our camp staff comes from local high school and college programs.

Closer to North County? We run camps in San Marcos as well — teams, leagues and tournaments are Scripps Ranch only. Details at sanmarcossol.com.

Parent questions.

No. We group campers by age and by ability, and every summer a good chunk of the gym is players picking up a ball for the first time. The stations are taught from the ground up — stance, dribble, layup, shot. Nobody gets left standing in a line.

Court shoes, a water bottle, and a lunch. Wear whatever they’d play in. We hand out the Sol T-shirt.

No — bring a lunch. There’s a lunch break from 12:00 to 12:30 and everyone eats together.

Not at all. Camp is open to any player ages 6 to 14. Sol players get 15% off — once the one-time $195 fee is paid it is attached to your Playbook account and applies at checkout automatically. But most of the gym in the summer is families who found us through camp first.

No. Campers are grouped by age and ability from the first morning, and coaches move players up or down through the week as they watch them play. Sixth grade and up gets harder stations and more live play. More on how we group older players.

Every court streams on Live Barn, so you can watch from work or send the link to grandparents.

That’s the idea. Skills classes run through the year, and team tryouts are free — the next one is Monday, September 14, 2026. Camp is how most of our families start.
