Rookie of the Year went to Keystone College freshman guard Mac Oribello (San Diego, Calif./Westview). She is the first Keystone player to earn the honor in women’s basketball. In just 13 games this season (all but one in conference), she averaged a conference-best 18.1 points per game on 40 percent shooting from the field. Averaging 2.7 three-point field goals per game (third in the conference), she is third in the conference in three-point field goal percentage at 29.7 percent. Oribello posted seven games with 20+ points including a season-high 27 points in a win over Clarks Summit on February 9. She was a first-team All-CSAC selection.
