ACADEMIC SHOWCASE

Our Academic Showcase program offers a unique opportunity for student-athletes to demonstrate their basketball skills in front of college coaches from Division 3, Division 2 and JUCO schools. The showcase will feature a combination of high-level drills and competitive games, giving players the chance to exhibit their abilities in real-time scenarios. This environment will provide valuable exposure for aspiring athletes looking to take their game to the next level while gaining the attention of college programs interested in recruiting talent. It’s a prime opportunity for players to stand out and make a lasting impression.

Showcase Director
COACH COSBY

Prepped in Philadelphia, PA, Cosby received All City honors in 1991 then came to California to play at Riverside City College. He then signed with Vanguard University, known as Southern California College.
After his playing days, Coach Cosby was hired by his alma mater RCC, for his first coaching job. Coach Cosby’s strengths are establishing relationships, skill development and game planning. His wealth of knowledge comes from his experience coaching in the NCAA, CCCAA and NAIA levels.

His experience includes the following:

  • Assistant Coach at Riverside City College 1999
  • Assistant Coach at LaSierra University 2000-2003
  • Assistant Coach at California Baptist University 2004-2006 (two top 20 teams, two trips to the National Tournament)
  • Assistant Coach of San Diego Christian College 2011-13
  • Assistant Women’s Coach at Point Loma Nazarene University 2013-16 (first NCAA tournament bid in school’s history, only team to beat two #1 ranked teams)
  • Head Men’s Basketball Coach at San Diego Christian College (multiple top 20 victories)
